About Our 5-Year-Olds Kindergarten
At Star Choice Academy, our program is developed using a combination of the NYS Next Generation Learning Standards for Kindergarten and through our targeted-based curriculum program, created to give your 5-year-old a well-rounded learning experience to help students develop mastery in the four modalities and other subject areas. We ensure each student succeeds academically in kindergarten and beyond while receiving positive and nurturing care.
Strict health and safety regulations will be observed.
You can relax knowing that your kindergartener is in a safe and healthy environment while they’re at our Academy. Based on CDC recommendations, our improved health and cleaning program is intended to reduce coronavirus transmission.

- Children learn by what they see, listen, and especially by what they do. They learn best when they are interested in what they do and the people who help them. They will ask and answer questions to clarify their understanding and explore their curiosity.

What Will My Child Be Doing?
- Children are eager to learn and discover new things and demonstrate their independence at this age. Teachers will use small and large group instructions where students will interact with their peers, complete tasks, and build their social and independence skills. Meanwhile, continuing to develop skills in education: language arts and literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies.
